I'm Jodi Rajaniemi, a native NH artist just moved to Maine.  I now work from my home studio in Shapleigh, Maine.
In my younger days I'd always been drawn to art. Shortly after starting my career as a designer in the software field sitting behind a computer all day, I found the desire to use my hands to create. I love to create with my mind and my hands.

Though I've worked in other mediums, I found my love of oils and have been painting in oils ever since. I find myself continually experimenting with what I paint; landscapes, animals, people and specific subject matters.
