Jodi Rajaniemi
Hello and welcome!
I'm Jodi Rajaniemi, a native NH artist. I have recently moved back to NH from Maine and work from a temporary home studio in Gilmanton, NH. We're working on moving me into a studio over the garage.
In my younger days I'd always been drawn to art, but never really knew where I wanted to take it. Up until recently I've been sitting behind a computer most of my day, working as a designer in the software field. I'm now retired. I'm planning to spend my days in my art studio finding my way as a artist. I've always been a bit of a dreamer meets realistic type of personality and love using my hands to create.
Though I've worked in other mediums, I found my love of oils and have been painting in oils ever since. I find myself continually experimenting with what I paint; landscapes, animals, people and specific subject matters.
